It is important when reading any material to know as much about the author as possible. Especially when it comes to political opinion. One can be reading material from a conspiracy theorist and not know it or similarly, one could not take someone’s opinion seriously when maybe they should.  I have experienced both of these cases first hand and want you to know some background information on me before we go any further.

I have spent my whole life studying politics and history; I have always been fond of these subjects. I graduated from a private university in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota in 2008 with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy. During my education I spent considerable time studying political philosophy and ideologies.

Also studying the works of Alfredo Rocco, Karl Marx, Thomas Hobbes, John Locke, Fredrich Neitschze, George Wilhelm Hegel, William James, Charles Sanders Peirce, Ludwig Wittgenstein, Howard Pospesel, John Dewey, Alfred Jules Ayer, Martin Luther King Jr., Charles W. Mills, Benito Mussolini, Jeremy Bentham, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Socrates, Aristotle, Kant, Derrida, Jean-Paul Sartre, Martin Heidegger and many, many more.

Reading books and going to school does not mean that a person is qualified in their area of expertise. But, it is a good start. Some of the other experiences in my life that have affected me greatly include: an internship with Minnesota State Sen. Charles Wiger who is the chair of the education committee, an internship with the Al Franken for US Senate campaign, Ambassadorship program to Izumicho, Japan, habitat for humanity and homeless shelter work as well as mission trips to Mexico and also to northern Montana.  These events have shaped who I am and have given me the perspective that I have just shared.

For this blog I will be discussing our marketing strategies related to all of our other websites that I operate and I am also going to be discussing a lot of random stuff, like music, sports, art, and anything else you can think of, except politics.
